Well hello there!
I’m Amanda René. I am a Nashville native with a combination of French culture and Hungarian features. I am a millennial that serendipitously became a professional photographer out of the love for art and real life human connection. After traveling around the world for about 6 years, I found myself purely drawn to people's stories, cultures and language. Those stories taught me more about myself and human connection than I ever thought that I would learn just by traveling.
A new fact about me is that I am officially an OFFICIANT! This is a great honor to marry my couples if their officiant cannot be present. I am in love with the idea that I can legally marry a couples in Idaho. So now you can feel reassured that your day can happen with me. <3
THE BOOKING PROCESS
STEP 1: INQUIRE

STEP 2: MEET & GREET
We schedule a date to have the video or in person meet and greet. The call or visit will be about an hour or so. Sometimes our hang out will go over time so if you are a talker like me, feel free to set aside a little more time to chat, laugh about the silly things that make us awesome. :-)
I would prefer both of you to be present to ensure you both can be fully involved and decide together on your wedding photographer.
Step 3: PRICING & PACKAGES
On our call I will provide you with all of my package information, how I work, the process beginning at the time of your inquiry, what to expect over the next year with me and answer all of your questions. After our call, I will email you a summary of our conversation as well as a few full gallery weddings for you to get the full experience of what your wedding day website will look like.
STEP 4: making it official
I will send the proposal within 48 hours after our meet & greet. Once the proposal is signed and deposit is made I am officially yours on your wedding date and no else can have me. We will communicate over the next several months to brainstorm ideas and share wedding ideas. I am here for you throughout your wedding planning.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
These are the most common questions I receive when a couple is interested in booking me for their wedding.
Do you travel internationally or outside of your based state?
Yes we do! Ask us about the places we’ve traveled and the process to make it happen.
How long have you been a full time professional photographer?
I have been photographing weddings and portraits for about 12 years now. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Photography so my experience is 20 years including my studies.
How do you describe your style?
My editing style is true to color as well as black & white editing. Some images just scream to be in black & white and with my artistic premonition, I will take the photo knowing I will edit that image a specific way. I do not use presets or photoshop filters. Sometimes I will be creative in camera and use lens attached filters. It’s important to me that your wedding flowers and attire color will look like the colors at your wedding. My emotional style is documentary so I am a stealthy observer photographing moments as they are happening. You will find moments in your wedding catalogue that you did not even know it happened.
Do you photograph same sex marriages?
This is a common question and the answer is ABSOLUTELY yes! We DO NOT discriminate against any race, sexual orientation, sexual preference, religion, etc. Period. The end. Love is love in my heart.
How many photos come with our wedding?
75-100 digital photos per hour are promised and delivered in high resolution in a personalized website. Sometimes additional photos are added when I get really creative.
What are your rates?
Our wedding packages varies based on our couples needs. All of our wedding packages include a variety of goodies such as wedding pages for your wedding album, second photographer or assistant, customized website, timeline guidance. We would love to go over details of additional packages that we offer to find a perfect fit for your dream wedding photography.
Do you shoot with film too?
I do shoot with film upon request. Sometimes you will find me taking film photos for fun. Depending on the quantity of film photos you are interested in, the roll of film and developing of the film cost can be affordable. Let’s chat more in detail on our video meet & greet about how I process the film and convert it to high res digital photos.
Does a wedding album come included in our wedding package?
Each of my wedding packages include pages towards your printed wedding album. Included pages range from 20-40 depending on the package of your choosing.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes, I am a full service photographer. On our first call, I will go over all of the details with the products I offer as well as the album designing process. You also have a print release as well as the store connected to your wedding site to order printed photos from.
Do you photograph elopements and intimate weddings?
I offer an intimate wedding/elopement package for 4 hours of coverage.
Would you be willing to hike to for our couples’ photos?
Heck yeah I would! The best part of me is shown in the outdoors and to photograph two love birds on top of a mountain, count me in! So let’s pack our day packs (or overnight packs) with snacks and water and make your photos radiant you as a couple.
Do you help plan a wedding if we don’t have a wedding planner?
If you don’t have a wedding planner, I must be a part of the timeline. This will ensure you are provided the best lighting for your photos. We can discuss the process during our first initial meeting.
When will we receive our photos?
Sneak peek within 48 hours post wedding, 4-6 weeks for all wedding photos to be delivered in your customized website.
NOTE: Your wedding photographer is one of the biggest investments of your wedding so it is so important for you to find the photographer you feel most comfortable with. I want to hear all about your story, your wedding vision and answer all of your questions. In addition, I’d like you to hear my voice and see my personality to feel if we are a good match.
